About this project

What does Vine Collector add?

WHAT IT DOES:

Shear your vines and get drops from full column instead of just single piece!
Useful for quick farming.
It should also work with any modded shears, if they extend class ShearsItem.

SUPPORTED PLANTS:

  • Vines
  • Weeping vines
  • Twisting vines
  • Kelp
  • Glow Berries
  • Modded vines (if they extend AbstractPlantBlock / GrowingPlantBlock)

UPDATE LOG:

  • Since v1.1 it works with weeping and twisting vines too! Hurray!
  • Since v1.2 most modded vines are supported (if they inherit class AbstractPlantBlock). As a side effect, now it works with kelp too.
  • Since v1.2.2 Caves & Cliffs update is supported properly – your precious vines will be collected even below y=0 and above y=256!

FUTURE PLANS:

(if requested or if I'll get bored one day)

  • Config file for plant whitelist/blacklist and additional features.
  • Player exhaustion per block harvested.
  • Tool taking damage per block harvested.
