About this project

What does Mars Mod: Reborn add?

The "Mars Mod Reborn" mod re-creates the original "Mars Mod" by themorfeus (mod showcase here), which was built for Minecraft beta 1.7.3 and was deleted 4-6 years ago. It was made for nostalgic reasons and is for Minecraft 1.14.4, 1.15.2 & 1.16.5 Forge. It adds all content from the original mod plus some additions that were unfinished & of my own. Enjoy :]

Requires Geckolib & Curios API [1.20.1 version only]

I only release downloads of my mods via CurseForge, Modrinth and my website, please do not download from anywhere else as they may contain viruses!!

Main Features

  • A Mars Dimension that can be accessible via portal

  • New boss (spawned by destroying the Martian Coffin found buried in the Martian Church)

  • Meteors falling from the sky (only on Mars)

  • New Blocks and Items (Mars Themed)

  • New Multi-tools (used as an Iron Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel & Sword)

  • Spacesuits (used to go to Mars without taking damage & Nausea)

  • New structures & mobs that spawn on Mars

  • Jetpacks

Known Issues/Bugs

  • You can only break the Ancient Martian Coffin from the centre
