About this project
What does NoCoralDecay add?
No Coral Decay is a small Forge 1.20.1 mod that adds a real gamerule for controlling coral decay outside of water.
By default, Minecraft turns live coral into dead coral when it is placed without water nearby. This mod lets server owners and players disable that behavior with:
/gamerule doCoralDecay false
When the gamerule is set to false, live coral blocks, coral plants, floor coral fans, and wall coral fans will stay alive even when they are out of water. When the gamerule is set back to true, coral decay works normally again.
The gamerule defaults to true, so installing the mod does not change vanilla behavior unless you choose to disable coral decay.
