Abandoned ⚠️

I'm no longer maintaining this project. You can see why in my comment here. A much better mod that does the same thing and more can be found here https://modrinth.com/mod/chunks-fade-in. It's worth noting that I gave the author of this mod permission to use an updated version of my logo, so no worries there. As a side note, be kind to developers and creators who do things for free :)

Chunk loading in Minecraft can be very jagged when they appear out of nowhere. With this mod, you can configure a nice animation for how chunks load in to your world.

Incompatibilities

Unfortunately the mod is currently incompatible with both Sodium and OptiFine as well as any other mods that heavily modify rendering code. However, I am working to add support for Sodium and potentially also OptiFine..

Planned Features & Improvements

  • Support for Sodium
  • Improved performance
  • Fade in animation
