About this project

What does Ambiance add?

Ambiance is a small mod that focuses on expanding the vanilla food system.

It adds more food items, changes chicken drops, and adds more recipes for eggs, making chickens the best animal to farm (which is what I was aiming for).
Chickens always felt useless in my opinion because there are better meats, and eggs are almost never used.

Ambiance also adds food-related items and a new ore type:

  • Platinum ore (Used for the next 2 items)
  • Cooking Pot
  • Frying Pan
  • Plates & Bowls

All current food items are:
Chicken:

  • Raw Small Chicken leg
  • Raw Big Chicken leg
  • Raw Chicken Wing
  • Cooked Small Chicken leg
  • Cooked Big Chicken leg
  • Cooked Chicken Wing
    Eggs:
  • Omelette
  • Boiled Egg
  • Fried Egg
  • Meat Omelette
  • Scrambled Eggs
    Other Meat:
  • Meat Skewer
  • Salmon Plate
  • Secret Meat
    Ingredients:
  • Chocolate
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Flour
    Baked Goods:
  • Berry Pie
  • Pretzel
  • Chocolate Pie
    Soups/Stews:
  • Carrot Soup
  • Carrot Cream Soup
  • Chicken Stew
  • Meat Stew

**!!Note!!**This has only been tested on 1.15.2, but it might work on older versions as well.
