About this project

What does OpenPAC Claim Mode Switch add?

Claim Mode Switch is a NeoForge mod for servers using Open Parties and Claims.

It adds a claim-aware gamemode system with a clean in-game menu. Players can manage trusted players, homes and personal claim modes through /cc or a configurable keybind. Server admins can configure how gamemodes behave on own claims, trusted claims, foreign claims and wilderness areas.

Features:

  • In-game menu opened with /cc
  • Configurable keybind, default: H
  • Open Parties and Claims integration
  • Trust system using player heads in the menu
  • Admin menu for claim gamemode rules
  • Bypass and Builderpass management through menus
  • Small on-screen status display for Bypass and Builderpass
  • Home system with configurable home limit
  • Homes can only be set on your own claims or claims where you are trusted
  • Home teleport countdown with ESC cancellation
  • Creative Inventory hybrid mode
  • Hybrid mode gives access to the Creative inventory without flight or invulnerability
  • Survival-style HUD in hybrid mode with hearts, hunger, XP bar and absorption hearts
  • Players can switch personal modes on their own claims if enabled by admins
  • Persistent storage for trusts, homes, bypass players, builderpass players and settings

Usage:

  • /cc opens the main menu
  • H opens the main menu by default
  • The keybind can be changed in Minecraft’s controls menu

Dependencies:

  • Open Parties and Claims is required
  • NeoForge is required

Recommended:

  • Xaero’s World Map and Xaero’s Minimap can be used together with Open Parties and Claims, but they are not required directly by this mod.

Important:
This mod must be installed on both the server and the client, because it includes client-side features such as keybinds, HUD overlays and custom menu rendering.
