About this project

What does Matt's Modular Armory add?

Matt's Modular Armory introduces 4 new tool, weapon and armor tiers, that use a customizable augment system, that allows for their modification, players are able to add and remove augments at will.

The mod is in its early stages, content is subject to change (especially the textures)

This mod doesn't provide any power producing blocks but has power consuming blocks

Available tiers:

  • Modular Clay (comparable to stone)
  • Advanced Modular Clay (comparable to iron)
  • Adaptive Flesh (comparable to diamond)
  • Biorite (comparable to netherite)

All tiers allow for different amount of inserted augments

Functional blocks:

Functional blocks

  • Modular Assembler - used for the crafting of modular items, functions similary to the stone cutter
  • Augment Table - used to insert the augments into the modular items
  • Repair Table - used to repair the modular items using their plates
  • Block Exposer - used to transform or create items depending on the blocks that surround it (with JEI integration)

  • Modular Miner:
    • mines blocks in an area in front of it
    • mining speed can be increased by providing power
    • the area can be increased with range addons
    • a filter can be inserted that dictates which blocks will be mined
    • an augment addon can be inserted which modifies the behaviour of the miner, they require bonus power per operation
  • Modular Builder:
    • places blocks in an area in front of it
    • placing speed can be increased by providing power
    • the area can be increased with range addons

  • power display (more information when hovered)
  • redstone mode button (active when provided redstone, active without redstone, ignores redstone)
  • 9 output slot, interact with hoppers
  • filter slot
  • augment addon slot

  • range display button, when active displays the working area of the block
