One of the new ways is by compressing Leaves and Turning 2 into 1 Paper
Another way is to compress Bamboo into Blocks and Turning 2 into 1 Paper
You can also improve the Paper Efficiency by Crafting Yourself a Wooden Masher
A wooden masher makes it so you can get 1 Paper for every Compressed Block
