About this project
What does BetterEnd Reforked add?
This is an unofficial port of Paulevs' Fabric Mod, "BetterEnd", port started by Beethoven and Vemerion and maintained for the foreseeable future by me.
This mod adds new biomes into the End and modifying existing ones. Each biome has its own atmosphere, resources and mobs.
Currently, this mod adds:
- 24 new biomes (more will be added later)
- 6 new mobs (with biome variations)
- Many blocks, including 9 wood types and 7 new stone types
- Many items, including new food sources, tools, armor and weapons
- New mechanics like rituals, anvil recipes and others
- Integrations with other mods, for example 2 new sub-biomes for BYG biomes and some new plants for them
- Custom End world generator (configurable) with more possibilities than vanilla one
You can report any bugs on the issues tracker.

(Not) F.A.Q
Why the Name?
I think I should clarify that the name is just a play on my general naming convention (X Mod: Reforged). This name isn't serious.
What's Different than BetterEnd (Forge)?
As of now this port has Magnesium Compat, however, after I rewrite it. It will implement the missing content and be maintained for the future.
Why another port?
Beethoven, The lead Developer of BetterEnd (Forge) is no longer in contact with the original team. This means that, Vemerion is left to work on it alone with little time.
On top of this, no new contributors can be added, meaning it is virtually impossible to keep maintaining it.
Currently the Github branches so far off of the original that implementing new content is a struggle for me in it's current state. Meaning it will need a fresh port, which will take me some time considering the size of this project and having my focus aimed towards Iris + Sodium. However, it will get done. Slowly.
This fork was permitted by Vemerion, the remaining developer of the original, however. This does not make this port official still. I have not contacted Paulevs about this.
Do NOT contact the official team for support.
Mod compatibility:
If running Endergetic Expansion, disable "replace end portal" in the configs.
Otherwise, compatible with everything BetterEnd (Forge) Could do + Compatibility with both Magnesium Builds
