About this project
What does Gems and Treasures add?

This mod aims to bring new useful gems to the game, bringing diversity to the game and more reasons to go mining.
It also introduce ores in sand, earth and other materials, not only in the classic stone.
It has a new crafting system: Falling Anvil Crafting.

Carbonado
Carbonado, also known as black diamond, can be found embedded in bedrock. It can be mined with a diamond pickaxe or better, and equipment crafted from it is slightly stronger than diamond.
Mining carbonado ore from bedrock will drop a Carbonado Cluster. These clusters can be broken by dropping an anvil on them. The higher the anvil falls from, the more Raw Carbonado the cluster can produce.
Carbonado Clusters can also be smelted in a furnace, producing Carbonado Gems, which are used to craft carbonado armor and tools.
In the Nether, Dark Ghasts can be found roaming the skies. These creatures can eventually drop Carbonado Shards, which can be used to craft Carbonado. They may also drop gunpowder and blaze-related materials.
Tiger's Eye
It can be found rarely while mining rock or while digging sand, can be mined/digged with any pickaxe or shovel respectively.
Besides decorative blocks, tiger's eye can be used to make the Scroll of Return, a magic scroll that can teleport you back to your spawn point. After used it will turn back into normal paper, but it can't be used in the nether, as it's magic is incompatible with the dimension and it will burn into gunpowder while not teleporting you anywhere.
Marble
Marble comes into two versions, black and white, an it's solely purpose is to make decorative blocks. If you're using the chisel mod you will have access to variants of the block.
Jade

Jade comes in great varity, being so far the green (default) version, Fire Jade (related to the nether), Void Jade (related to the end), White Jade (rare version), Golden Jade (epic version), and Prismatic Jade (legendary version). You can right click a jade to exchange it for a random item, choosen from a list of items from the mod configuration files. Jade is meant to be used in modpacks, as it will be more rewarding. It will have configuration to drop stuff from some mods, but it's better for each modpack to make it's own drop list.
The jade ore looks like regular stone, netherrack and end stone, but with an added glow.
Mechanics:
This mods adds the Falling Anvil Crafting game mechanics, that basically adds recipes to items to be made when an anvil falls above the needed items. So far only one recipe can be crafted at a time, and other items will be just crushed into dust.
In the future there will be a config file to add custom recipes.
