Amethyst grants you:

ARMOR:

  • +1 armor
  • +1 armor toughness
  • x1.2 durability
  • +5 enchantability

TOOLS:

  • +2 damage
  • +1 digspeed
  • x1.2 durability
  • +5 enchantability

ARROWS:

  • +3 damage
  • 1.5x duration of glowing for spectral arrow

    TRIDENT:

    • +2 damage from attack
    • +3 damage from throwing

And don't forget that any of these values can be changed using config :)
