Smart Mobs AI
Smart Mobs AI adds new behaviors to vanilla Minecraft mobs, making them feel more alive and less predictable. Mobs can react to players, weather, other creatures and different situations. Some things can even happen without the player doing anything.
Features
Mob Interactions
Mobs can react to items and weapons you're holding. For example, sheep can get scared and run away when you approach them with a sword or axe.
They can also react to other mobs and what's happening around them. Not every reaction is triggered by the player, so you might notice some unexpected things while exploring.
Weather Reactions
Weather can change how some mobs behave. Rain and thunderstorms can trigger different reactions, and zombies and skeletons try to find shelter from the sun.
Mob Behaviors
Different mobs have their own behaviors. Here are some examples:
- Cats can react to dangerous situations.
- Sheep react to weapons and weather.
- Horses can explore, form herds and panic together.
- Creepers take advantage of moments when you're not looking.
- Spiders can poison you with their attacks.
- Zombies and skeletons look for shelter from sunlight.
- Piglins have a custom bartering system with randomized trades.
These are just some of the things you can find in the mod. There's still more to discover in-game!
Mob Messages
Some mobs can show messages in certain situations. You can change a few things about the message system in the settings.
Piglin Bartering
Piglins have their own randomized bartering system, with different possible trades. You won't always get the same result when trading gold.
Settings
The mod has settings for mob messages and other available options. You need Mod Menu to access them.
Development
Smart Mobs AI is still in beta, and I'm working on adding more features and fixing issues.
Minecraft 1.20.1 is the current beta version.
Minecraft 26.3 is the target for version 0.4, which is still in development and isn't available yet.
Thanks for playing Smart Mobs Ai!!!
