About this project

What does Hero's Anchor Optimizer add?

Hero's Anchor Optimizer

What does it do?

  • Optimization that fixes waiting on the server after anchor explosion before anchor block is removed. Replaces it with a visibly different 'fake' anchor (that can be replaced like a fern) to not change functionality of airplacing. This allows you to not have to wait for the server to be able to place another block in the same place.

Is this allowed?

** Allowed on many major servers such as:**

  • Vanilla+

  • PVP Legacy

  • USPVP

  • MCPVP

  • DonutSMP

  • LeoneMC

  • Vanilla (Crystal PVP) Tier list

but please ask before using on any servers that aren't on this list or haven't explicitly allowed it.

How to use?

  • Plop into your .minecraft/mods folder
  • Make sure to have fabric api (for versions <1.21.11)

I want to change the fake anchor texture

  • You can do this with a pack. You can either change the model in

assets\herosanchoroptimizer\models\block\fake_anchor.json

or change individual textures in

assets\herosanchoroptimizer\models\block\fake_anchor_side.png and/or
assets\herosanchoroptimizer\models\block\fake_anchor_vertical.png

Compatibility

  • Should work with any mods that don't edit an anchor's functionality.
