About this project
What does FirmaLife add?
Firmalife is a cooking and farming addon for versions TerraFirmaCraft 1.12, 1.18, and beyond. It aims to add depth and realism to the food systems in the mod as well as provide a variety of different foods to eat. Many features from 1.7.10 TFC addons have been brought into Firmalife, making it a fresh yet nostalgic experience.
Documentation for Firmalife for 1.18+ lives on TFC's official Field Guide Website, whereas the 1.12 documentation is on the Github Wiki. The Github Wiki also contains API documentation for Firmalife for 1.18+.
Features include:
- Brick oven for making bread, pizza, and other treats
- Modular oven appliances for grilling, boiling, and other systems
- Advanced bread making with yeast
- Beekeeping with bee breeding and genetics
- Chocolate-making
- Greenhouses for growing food in the winter
- Cellars for storing food
- Jarring fruit for preservation
- Pumpkin carving to make fancy jack o' lanterns
- Drying recipes, including drying fruit
- Advanced cheesemaking, including six different types of cheese, depending on the animal and preparation
- Vegan options, like pineapple leather, tofu, and other fun treats
- Smoking meat and cheese just like in TFC Classic
