A Fabric implementation of the bug fixes offered by the Paper project.
Quick answer
Which Whiteout release matches 26.1.2?
Whiteout 0.18.3 targets 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2 with Fabric. Do not install it on the client. It must be installed on the dedicated server. No extra mods listed for this file.
Where it goes
Is Whiteout required on the client, server, or both?
Do not install it on the client. It must be installed on the dedicated server.
This file is marked server-only.
What else does Whiteout 0.18.3 need?
0.18.3 on 26.1.2. Every mod below is checked against that same setup.
This file does not list any required mods. Do not add a library just because a different file uses it.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

Patches that aren't enabled by default generally meet at least one of the following criteria:
- The new behavior created by the patch is (possibly) not what's actually intended by Mojang
- The patch circumvents the issue but doesn't truly correct it
- The manner in which the patch is applied is not technically elegant and might cause unforeseen issues and/or performance degradation
- Mojang has not assigned the ticket a priority, meaning that a Mojang employee has not yet personally reviewed the ticket and confirmed that the described behavior is unintentional
- Mojang closed the ticket with the "Cannot Reproduce" resolution, meaning that a Mojang employee was unable to reproduce the described issue
- Mojang closed the ticket with the "Won't Fix" resolution, meaning that the behavior is confirmed unintentional but they don't care enough to fix it themselves
If you wish to enable them, you will have to do so in .minecraft/configs/whiteout.properties.

License
Since all bug fixes provided by this mod are ported from Paper, said fixes inherit their licensing from the Paper project, which is licensed under the GPLv3.

Compatibility
Best effort is made to keep Whiteout compatible with Lithium. Reporting of issues with compatibility is appreciated.
Compatibility with all other mods is at my discretion.
Compatibility with Sinytra Connector and similar projects is not supported at all. Issues using Whiteout with such layers are the responsibility of those wishing to use it.
Backporting
I currently do not have the time to maintain backports. Deprecated versions will likely never be supported. Do not open issue tickets asking for backports.
