Hello, I am Zoomerreid, and this is my first public Minecraft mod. This mod contains multiple iconic characters from season 1, 2, 3, and 4, and will add many more characters and items as the development progresses! Future additions may cover characters that aren't in the anime yet!

The current version of the mod is the Towering Trials Update! Take on the Pleiades Watchtower, solving and conquering the trials within. New monsters, new abilities, and new and improved game mechanics to bring the mod to the next level. 2.0 is here, and it's the start of a new era for the mod!

Features:

Authorities

Authorities are powerful and perhaps malevolent abilities that warp the laws of nature, each representing a cardinal sin. Conjuring invisible attacks and become immune to damage are just a couple examples.

Sloth: Create invisible hands that you can use to attack your foes. Crush them with their overwhelming power.

Greed: Alter how you respond to damage. Place your heart inside someone or many, and become essentially invisible while they're alive. Or, prevent your allies from ever dying, sacrificing your own health instead.

Gluttony: Eat people's names and memories, making others and even your victims forget who they are.

Pride: Go back in time if you die. Return By Death to protect yourself and your friends. You can never lose if you can always try again.

Lust: Change your form at will, gaining new abilities and strengths.

Wrath: Manipulate people and creatures around you, if you feel pain, make them feel pain too. If any of them are hurt, they will each share the same pain.

Divine Protections

Divine Protections are blessings by the world to those it considers special. Many heroes of the Re:Zero world sport at least one of these. They help you stay alive, and provide you with boosts to combat. There are many, but below are a few notable ones that showcase the power of Divine Protections.

Phoenix: Prevent yourself from dying once. Afterward it is lost. Make the most of it.

Earth Spirits: While you're touching the ground, you use the mana underneath you to heal at incredible speed and never run out of energy.

Gathering Spirits: Lesser spirits want to be your friend. Make lots of contracts with them and they will help you fight.

Wind Spirits: While you sprint, you'll move as quickly as the wind.

Magic

One of the most expansive and developed features. There is a full set of elemental spells to use. If you're a human, you'll struggle the most with magic compared to others. However those who do practice magic can learn powerful spells that can sway the battle. Not only is there basic magic, later in the game you can unlock advanced magic spells. These are incredibly powerful and versatile.

Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, Yin and Yang make up the 6 basic elemental magic spells. Some advanced magics combine them, like Spirit Knight. Some other advanced magics include:

Twofold Magic: Use two spells a the same time, which is normally impossible. Normal minds can only focus on one spell at a time.

Minya: Launch purple crystal darts at your enemies, which are extremely difficult to avoid due to sheer number and speed.

One Blow, One Hundred Felled: Attack with a powerful strike of nearly invisible wind, dealing devastating damage to whatever it hits.

Weapon Arts

Empower your weapon attacks with some flair. Who needs spells? Deal increased damage, leap long distances with landing damage, move at super human speeds. Though this feature isn't yet a main focus of the mod, it still has plenty to offer for those who wish to simply use a sword or axe to battle. Additionally, there are custom new weapons like a Morninstar, or the Guiltywhip, Subaru's weapon of choice.

Characters

This mod adds lots of iconic characters from the anime/novel. Some examples include: Rem, Ram, Garfiel, Regulus, Reinhard, Puck, Wilhelm, Petra, Emilia, Beatrice, Petelgeuse, Roswaal, and Echidna. Almost every update adds more, so if your favorite isn't yet included in the mod, join the discord or patreon and suggest them!

Additionally, mabeast and similar mobs are present. Spirits, Wolgarm, Guiltylowe. Even the Hakugei (White Whale) and the two other great witch beasts.

Equipment

Though not the focus, many new items including magical items are included! New weapons, armor with some resembling outfits of characters, tools, and ores to collect like magic stones.

This mod requires Mine:Zero Return by Death by Lethal in order to Return By Death. If you want that feature in your game, download the mod from the link! With both mods installed, it will work within the authority system. This mod will work without it installed, but I personally recommend this Return by Death mod, as it's very well made.

How to Play: Basics

For any information not covered in this section, refer to the Fandom Wiki linked in the mod page.

Choose a race to begin with. Some offer magic power, others have unique abilities, and some provide physical power or divine favorability. You may start with a few spells or Divine Protections. Open the Ability Menu by pressing "N" by default to see your stats, skills, and magic. If you chose a race with a skill, go to the "Special Magic" menu to equip it.

Basic Magic spells can be cast with V, and to cycle to the next element, B. To increase the spell level, either crouch cast or press "numpad Enter" by default. You can check what basic magic spells you have in the Basic Magic menu.

Skills, which encompass Weapon Arts, Advanced Magic, and Special Magic, are cast with G and cycled with H. There are no levels for skills as of this update.

Authority abilities are cast with Z and cycled with X.

Gain magic exp by using spells and by absorbing essence of that element. At 60, 250, and 2000 exp respectively, you unlock the next level spell.

Gain swordsmanship exp by defeating sword wielding characters or mobs with swords while also using one yourself. Depending on their Od, you gain more exp.

Use Flow Method by pressing "U" by default. You must increase flow levels in Strength, Endurance, and Speed in the Weapon Menu. Each level increases the power of the stat and the amount of mana it consumes.

Complete Re:Zero advancements to gain Stat Points, which can be spent in the Soul Menu. To see advancements, press "L".
