About this project
What does Lunar add?
The Lunar mod adds lunar events to the world of Minecraft.
The mod currently adds the following lunar events:
- Bad Omen Moon: For the duration of the event every player will have the Bad Omen effect applied. So watch out if you live near a village!
- Big Moon: The moon is closer than ever and is affecting gravity. Every entity will be more affected by gravity
- Blood Moon: When this event is active prepare for fiercer battles. Mobs that emerge during this event hit way harder than normal, so don't underestimate them
- Crimson Moon: The moon has changed... The Nether is leaking into the Overworld? During this event certain nether mobs will overtake vanilla mob spawning in the Overworld
- Hero Moon: You're a hero! For the duration of the event every player will have the Hero Of The Village effect applied
- Miner Moon: Unleash your inner miner. For the duration of the event every player will have the Haste effect applied, allowing you to strip mine even faster
- Tiny Moon: The moon has drifted further away and the gravitational effects can be felt. Every player is less affected by gravity, almost like your jumping with slow falling
- White Moon: You feel safer somehow. During this event mobs classified as Monster will not naturally spawn. Have fun exploring at night!
- Eclipse Moon: The moon is dark? During this event players will have a tough time when being in direct sight of the moon. Having sky access will apply the Darkness effect to players making it difficult to traverse the world
