About this project

What does OreLibrary add?

This mod adds the ores, ingots, nuggets and alloys needed by Solar Generation by 3divad99, and it works with any other mod that uses the same metals.

Available for NeoForge, Forge and Fabric.

How it works

  • Five new ores generate in the world, in both Stone and Deepslate: Tin, Lead, Nickel, Silver and Platinum.
  • Ores drop raw materials, just like vanilla iron and gold. Fortune gives more, Silk Touch gives the ore block.
  • Smelt or blast raw materials into ingots, and turn ingots into nuggets or storage blocks.
  • Alloys are made from a blend: craft the blend from its metals, then smelt or blast it into an ingot.
  • Recipes unlock in the recipe book as soon as you pick up one of the ingredients.
  • Everything uses the common tags (c:ingots/tin, c:nuggets/lead…), so ingots from other mods work in the recipes and the metals of this mod work in other mods.

OreLibrary creative tab

New in 1.3

  • Ores now drop raw materials, with new Raw Blocks
  • Deepslate ores and new ore generation based on height, like vanilla ores (in 26.3 they also generate in Tuff)
  • Storage blocks for every metal and alloy
  • Blends give one blend for each metal ingot used
  • New textures for ores, raw materials and blocks
  • Now also on Forge and Fabric
  • Copper Ore and Copper Ingot removed: vanilla copper is used instead
