About this project

What does Carpet Sky Additions add?

Carpet Sky Additions is a module for Carpet that provides infinite empty World Generation with Biomes and Structure Bounding Boxes kept in place. It also provides new vanilla-like ways to obtain resources that would otherwise be unobtainable.

A datapack is also included to fill in gaps and provide advancements that guide progression. With default settings and the datapack enabled, every resource in the game is obtainable in SkyBlock generation.

Unless SkyBlock style world generation is chosen or features are specifically enabled, the mod will do nothing. This means SkyBlock and Non-SkyBlock worlds can be switched between easily without restarting the client.

Beyond world generation, customizable features include:

  • Dead Coral and Dead Coral Fans erode into Sand when in Flowing Water
  • Shulkers spawn on the Bedrock pillar On Dragon re-kills
  • Goats break apart Nether Wart Blocks into Nether Wart By ramming them
  • Thick Potions convert Stone into Deepslate
  • Netherrack generates with Nether Portal structures (like Bedrock)
  • Wandering Traders sell Tall Flowers (like Bedrock)
  • Vexes can be converted into Allays by playing them the correct sequence of Note Block notes
  • Foxes have a chance to spawn with Sweet Berries
  • An Anvil falling onto a stack of Coal Blocks converts it into a Diamond
  • Lightning striking a Glowstone Block with Vines on the side converts the Vines into Glow Lichen
  • Chorus Trees generate on End Islands spawned by End Gateways
  • Dolphins dig for Hearts of the Sea when given a Fish
  • Lava can be converted into a Budding Amethyst by creating an Amethyst-like structure
  • Saplings can be placed on Sand but die shortly thereafter
  • Ender Dragons drop their head when killed by a Charged Creeper
  • Huge Mushrooms spread Mycelium when grown, like Spruce Trees spread Podzol
  • Dolphins and Bats drop Echo Shards when killed by a Warden's Sonic Boom
  • Enchanting Tables near Wardens can enchant items with Swift Sneak
  • Poisonous Potatoes convert Spiders into Cave Spiders
  • Wandering Traders sell Lava (disabled by default)
