About this project
What does Unified Items add?
Unified Items is a mod to centralize ore generation and items into one simple to use package.
It is entirely modular by design and therefore only adds blocks and items that are necessary.
The spoiler below is technical jargon.
It does so by detecting whats registered in the ore dictionary on first run. Due to limitations in how forge does it's loading phases it then crashes the game to make sure that you don't start a world without my item's existing. This only happens once automatically, but can be triggered manually at any time by deleting "unifieditems-LastKnownMaterials.json" in your config directory. For Modpack makers you can turn off auto-detection and tune things manually using the override system in the config.
Just toss any ingot in a furnace to convert it into its Unified equivalent. Note: Since other mods like to mess with furnace recipes, for best results i recommend either the vanilla furnace or the one from Extra Utilities.
