A vanilla-friendly ore centered around lava, fire, and everything hot!

This is a reworked version of the original Vulcanite mod, made by Insane96 and maintained by ZimonIsHim, in Fabric. For this project I have chosen for an iterative approach, meaning that there will be updates very soon containing the content from the original version.

Features:

  • Vulcanite tools and armor (including a special Flint and Vulcanite item used to ignite creepers + ignite TNT faster)!
  • Vulcanite Ore generation in the nether near the lava level!
  • Striders will always be warm when a player is riding them with Vulcanite Leggins and Boots.
  • Use Vulcanite blocks as a beacon base!

Planned features:

  • Advancements.
  • Make items melt upon being mined with vulcanite tools.
  • Make Vulcanite tools mine faster based on biome temperature.
  • Make lava solidify with armor.
  • Tooltips.
  • Custom sounds.
  • Translations to other languages (Dutch, German & Russian).
