Where it goes
Is Shields+ required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does Shields+ 1.3.2 need?
1.3.2 on 1.19.2. Every mod below is checked against that same setup.
Install InsaneLib first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

The mod
These are shields for each vanilla material, from Wooden to Netherite. Each shield has different stats: blocked damaged, time lifted and cooldown.
- Blocked damage: defines how much incomind damage the shield blocks
- Time lifted: how much time can shields be lifted before going in cooldown
- Cooldown: how much time before you can lift the shield again
All the stats can be changed via data pack
Shields can be enchanted in the enchanting table. These are the new available enchantments:
- Reinforced (max V) (Incompatible with Reflection): Increases damage blocked
- Recoil (max II): knocks back entities and launches back projectiles
- Aegis (max V) (incompatible with Reinforced and Reflection): reduces damage taken by attacks if go through the shield
- Reflection (max IV) (Incompatible with Reinforced): Damages entities returns part of the damage received to the entity that attacked us.
- Ablaze (max II): Sets the entity and projectiles on fire
- Lightweight: Makes the player move faster when blocking
- Fast Recovery: Reduces the Shield cooldown (only works with "Combat Test shield disabling" enabled)
- Perfect Parry: Blocking at the same time as taking damage completely negates it and stuns the entity
- Celestial Guardian: Blocking and taking damage that would reduce your health below 25%, will instead give you a strong absorption. Has a cooldown

Other features
- Reduced shield windup: In vanilla when you start blocking with a shield, there's a 0.25 seconds window where you are still not blocking, this is removed
- The minimum damage dealt to the player for the shield to take damage in vanilla is 3. The mod makes the shield always take damage instead.
- Shields are disabled like the Combat Test Update (for 1.6 seconds always instead of having a chance for 5 seconds)
