Nexus Layer
Library and compatibility layer to ensure function between my mods. Adds status effects and blocks
Quick answer
Which Nexus Layer release should I use?
Nexus Layer 1.1.3 targets 1.20.1 with Forge. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Nexus Layer required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Nexus Layer 1.1.3 need?
1.1.3. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Geckolib first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Nexus Layer add?
Nexus Layer is a library mod and compatibility layer made to ensure functions between my mods stay compatible with eachother. Alone, it is not meant to add any function without a seperate mod or command activating its function.
When used in tandem with my other mods, Nexus Layer primarily adds status effects such as Singed, Malignant, and Scalded, all with entity tags to customize immunity.
It's also used to group modded and unmodded items into tags, in order to detect them if I ever need to use them in the future. This allows for datapacks to be made to bridge compatibility gaps between other mods and my own.
Nexus Layer requires Geckolib in order for certain functions to work.
