About this project
What does Manhunt Effects add?
Manhunt Effects is a Minecraft Manhunt mod/plugin that awards the speedrunner permanent positive status effects every time one of the hunters dies. Every time a hunter dies, the speedrunner gets a random effect which makes him increasingly strong throughout the whole course of the game. Effects available are Speed, Haste, Strength, Jump Boost, Regeneration, Resistance, Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, Night Vision, Health Boost, Dolphin's Grace, Saturation and much more. Levels can be as high as V, but levels must be unlocked in order; meaning one needs to unlock Level I before being able to upgrade to Level II and so on. Multiple hunters are supported, there are role management commands like /speedrunner, /hunter, /clearrole, and there are custom victory title screens showing who won the game. Defeating the Ender Dragon will display a huge "Speedrunners Win!" title screen, while killing the speedrunner will display "Hunters Win!". Manhunt Effects aims to make each hunt by hunters give something meaningful to the game, making the game fun with intense progressions and unpredictable Manhunt.
