Quick answer
Which Creature Feature release should I use?
Creature Feature 1.2.2.2 targets 1.21.1 with NeoForge. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Creature Feature required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Creature Feature 1.2.2.2 need?
1.2.2.2. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Blueprint first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 2 come through another mod in the chain.
2 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Creature Feature add?
Here are the following Creatures, Featured in this mod. Careful, for the Feature of the Creatures is divided into 6 sections, with more to come.
Eventually:tm: A fabric port will happen.
The Galenic.
Minds, The Unthinking Undead
A zombie with an oversized brain, enrages when hit.
I wonder if you could pop it...
Appears in warm biomes, such as Savannahs, drops the same things you'd expect for a zombie to drop. With some poisonous lead if Oreganized is installed.
Sinister, The Mirror, rirroM
A mass of silver tarnish, holding a mirror that reflects damage.
What if you hit the mass itself?
Appears in deep caves, drops the mud it's made of and Silver, if Oreganized is installed.
Beauty, The Beauty.
A lanky humanoid plant, seems to shrug off all attacks by parrying them.
What if you hit it while it's parrying another attack?
Appears in Lush caves, drops moss.
Machination, The Raging Machine.
A small, electrum golem(?) which attacks by kicking you. Can wind up a flying kick if far away enough.
And sometimes leaps directly into the lava below.
The NeverEnding.
All of these creatures and their features appear in the End.
Eeper, Whom dreams forever.
A distant relative of the creeper. Hops and scotches and marches directly towards you. Makes you fall asleep (slower speed, no jump, forced 3rd person) if it explodes.
Blitz, Whom does not retreat.
An elemental of. Something? Some thing. often leaps, dealing damage around itself and then dashes backwards or strafes.
MinedFlayer, Whom floats without worry.
A cosmic jellyfish, thinking of nothing. Floats around, floats to you if it spots you.
Doesn't deal any substantial damage, only disorienting you by rotating your camera and moving the player.
NoThing, Whom.

The description is empty.
Upon spotting a player, it shouts, revealing itself for a moment, then runs towards the player. It also becomes revealed upon getting hit or getting close to the target. The Untamed.
Vertigo
A Sickened goat(?) equine(?) pig(?) deer(?).
Appears in dark forests, rarely in taigas. Charges towards the player as a regular walking enemy would. Rarely Sneezes(Spits?) at the player, knocking them back if caught in the attack cone and applying damage over time.
Canary
A Metallic lion(?) snake(?) bird(?) object(?).
Appears in very deep caves. Circles the player and tries to hit them with it's face plate (mask?). Inflicts delayed health loss, alongside simple melee damage.
The tail segments deal minimal damage to YOU, but the Canary takes full damage if those are hit.
Runaway
A Bigfin squid? Hermit crab? Sea skipper? Scagenger?.
Appears on beaches. Hovers over the player and traverses terrain using it's legs. Bobs down to hit you. Has pretty weak attacks, but vast health.
Try running under it.
Dreamweaver
A Spider? Thought? Lingering moment? Sac of spiders?
Appears in the outer end, behaves similarly to a spider, becoming way more erratic after the abdomen ruptures, which ruptures after taking enough damage and spawns the enemy stored within it.
Try to throw the ones with another spider in them off the island.
The Rangers.
Mockingbird,
mockingbird. mocking. mocking bird. mock bird.
It Appears on mountains, does a revenge attack when hit and sometimes lunges backwards and throws feathers.
Strangely, it looks very humanoid.
Try moving sideways after hitting it.
Saint Solis,
ursa major. the stars. sunbear. st. solis. sun.
Appears in the outer end. Spews smaller stars from it's abdomen, oddly, the stars gravitate to YOU. But, it has a hard time aiming otherwise.
Something may happen if you let the stars hit it.
Blossom,
flower. zombie. symbiosis. as one. one as both.
It appears in jungles, the zombie part acts perfectly the same, same as every single day. The bud part shoots slowing sap at the target and an area around it.
Seemingly works in a pair, with the bud slowing the target while the body chases.
Coat of arms,
guns. roses. flowers. coats. cloaks. capes. flowers.
Appears in swamps, tries to approach you from a cardinal direction and then fires.
A lot.
For some reason it ONLY fires in 90 degree angles...
The Myths.
Detritus
I once saw 2 people, They looked the same. But one was worse, way worse.
Appears in deep caves. As 1 measly zombie. It will create copies, worse than it is, if it sees you or is hurt by you.
Those copies do the same until they are unrecognizable from the original.
Otherwise, it behaves like a normal zombie would.
It is a normal person.
Stained glass
I once saw a bird, a beautiful glass bird, I once bled, too.
Appears in deserts. Tries staying above you, as it is very frail. Sometimes swoops down in an attempt to land a hit, if it does, it will instantly rebound backwards to a safe spot.
You can punch it out of the air and cause it to flail on the ground for a short moment, more hits will delay the poor thing more.
Pathogen
I once got the common cold.
Supports undead monsters by giving them a more healthy green hue and healing them. May appear already inside one of the creature.
So, it's a subcreature? Yet it can exist outside the bounds of other creatures? These things sure are a grey area.
Toadstool
I once saw a toad, frollicing in the fields of summer grass.
Uses a Physics imbued monolith to attack you. You can break it using a pickaxe. If you do, the little thing floors it and runs away from you, only to conjure another monolith.
May require something along the lines of Sable. but the mod will work without it.
Appears in open fields.
The Friendful.
Fiend, a Fully Fiendish Fella.
Appears in Nether wastes, kicks blocks at the player while approaching to attack in close range. Sometimes may carry a skeleton.
Try moving to the left or right to avoid the punted blocks.
Fend, a Fierceness, Finally Full.
Appears in sunflower fields and other flowery biomes. Has 3 variants. One simply chases you, one shoots at you with a bow, one charges at you with a sword.
Even if shot with a bow, they will not infight.
Friend, a Friendly, Friendly, Friend.
Appears on the nether roof.
Your Friend, that is.
Randomly moves side to side and forwards. Your friend, that is.
Feles pariunt. Creates Smaller versions of itself, they die after around 15 seconds or a single hit.
Goes down after being hit and flees for a moment.
