About this project

What does Tickrate API add?

Tickrate API is simple(?) library mod for manipulate in-game tickrate.
Inspired from Tickrate Changer by Guichaguri

Basic Usage:

Use TickrateUtil class to modify in-game tickrate.
Entities will have a tickrate with highest priority.
Default priority is 1000.
Most of method should be self-explanation.

  • TickrateUtil#setBaseTickrate
    Permanently change tickrate of entity.
    Only need to call once.

  • TickrateUtil#setTickrate
    Temporarily change tickrate of entity.
    Need to call every tick.
While you can call this in anywhere, using 0 tickrate inside LivingTickEvent won't work since event is not fired.
in that case, use below event instead.

  • EntityTickEvent
Unlike LivingTickEvent, this event is fired for every entities, including player.
If tickrate of entity is 0, it will be fired with 20 tickrate.
    Fired on both sides.

For create a new instance of TickrateTimer, use TickrateTimer#createDefault or TickrateTimer#createWithTickrate

Pressing F3 + B will show existing tickrate areas in dimension.

Also there is in-game command for none-developer.
For remove area, put -1 tickrate with same coordinate.

/tickrate entity <targets> <tickrate> [<priority>]
/tickrate dimension <dimension> <tickrate> [<priority>]
/tickrate area <dimension> <from> <to> <tickrate> [<priority>]
