About this project
What does Royal Variations add?

Royal Variations - a small mod that adds enhanced royal variations of vanilla mobs with their own characteristics and unique drops. All the mobs you will periodically encounter in the world, each has its own abilities and an increased amount of xp and drops, among which there are new items, each with its own use. The mod will slightly diversify and complicate your survival without loading the game with a lot of mechanics.
Mob spawning can be configured in the config file.
Mod requires Curios API to work.
REVIEWS
MOBS
Royal Zombie
Has increased characteristics. Its behavior is similar to that of a regular zombie. Always spawns with two regular zombies. Upon seeing the target of his attack, he knights all zombies around him, equipping them with a Royal Knight Helmet, an iron sword, or an iron axe, and granting them the Knight's Fortitude effect, which increases their defense; this ability has a short cooldown. The Royal Zombie's attacks inflict the Chosen Victim effect on its opponent, making it a priority target for surrounding undead, while also increasing the movement and attack speed of undead targeting the victim.
Unique drop:

Royal Skeleton
Has increased characteristics. Its behavior is similar to that of a regular skeleton. The Royal Skeleton's bow shots have increased power, range, and knockback, and when they hit a target, they inflict a Mark that reduces attack damage, movement speed, and attack speed by 10%, and armor by 25%, as well as making the affected target a priority target for monsters in a large radius. Upon seeing an opponent, the Royal Skeleton blesses other skeletons around him, enchanting their bows with Power II; the ability has a short cooldown. When the skeleton is attacked, it jumps back, throwing a net over the opponent, which immobilizes him for a few seconds (the net can be torn by hitting it with a sword).
Unique drop:

Royal Creeper
Has increased characteristics. Its behavior is similar to that of a regular creeper. Upon seeing a player, it can grant a Time Bomb effect to monsters near the player, causing them to detonate after 4.2 seconds (the explosion does not destroy blocks); the ability has a short cooldown*.* These explosions inflict Dazed effect on the player, reducing his movement speed and damage by 60%. The creeper itself detonates much more powerfully than a regular creeper, while also having the ability to walk (the speed during detonation is 40% lower), but the time it takes to explode is longer than that of a regular creeper. It can also become Charged, which increases the power of the explosion even more.
Unique drop:
Royal Enderman
Rarely encountered than other royal mobs, it acts as a small miniboss. Its behavior is completely similar to that of a regular Enderman, but it does not lift blocks. If the player looks into the eyes of or hits a Royal Enderman, the Enderman will cast Pressing Gaze on the player, causing a brief darkness and causing all normal Endermen around the player to attack the affected player. The Royal Enderman's teleports cause a small splash around the teleport point, dealing magic damage to players and applying Heaviness of The End, slowing the target by 40% and reducing their jump height by 25%. During combat, if the Enderman's health is below 80%, he will periodically summon a Spectral Anvil above the player's head, which, after a short delay, will fall and deal magic damage over an area, applying the Heaviness of The End effect to those it hits. From the unique loot, when killing a Royal Enderman, you can get Royal Ender Pearls. Unique drop:
ITEMS
Spiritual Crown Shard
Drops periodically from any royal mob. Required to create a spiritual crown.
Spiritual Crown
Right-clicking a mob allows you to transform it into its royal variation (if it has one). The item has one use.
Royal Staff
Dropped occasionally by Royal Zombie. Right-clicking grants you and all your pets the Royal Blessing, granting +5% movement speed, +15% attack speed, +3.5 attack damage, and +5 armor. All bonuses apply to pets at double the rate.
Royal Bone
Periodically drops from the Royal Skeleton. With its help you can instantly tame a wolf. You can also make Royal Bone meal and Royal Bow from it. Royal Bow and Royal Arrow
-The Royal Bow has increased durability and a high enchantability rate. Firing a bowshot with the Royal Arrow will apply a Mark to the target upon impact, reducing the target's stats by 10% and armor by 25%. -The Royal Arrow deals increased damage and knockback. When fired from the Royal Bow, it Marks the target upon impact.
Royal Bone Meal
Made from royal bones. Works like regular bone meal but only in 3 by 3 areas. You can also make Royal Arrows from it.
Royal Gunpowder
Dropped by the Royal Creeper. Needed to make the Royal Bomb.
Royal Bomb
A thrown bomb that arcs when thrown. Upon landing, after a short delay, it creates a powerful explosion that applies Dazed to everyone within the blast radius, reducing movement speed and attack damage by 60%. *(The explosion drops all destroyed blocks, similar to TNT)*Royal Ender Pearl
Works like a regular Ender Pearl, but it doesn't damage you when teleporting and creates a magical surge at the teleportation point, which damages all monsters around it and slows them down. Spectral Gauntlet
A hand slot trinket. When equipped, increases block reach by 2 and grants a 15% chance to unleash a Spectral Anvil on the target of your attack. Royal Telelocator
Allows you to link a telelocation point by right-clicking a block. Holding right-click for 4 seconds teleports you to the linked telelocation point. After use, the telelocator breaks and must be repaired by combining it with Royal Ender Pearls in the crafting grid. The telelocator cannot be used between dimensions. Royal Armor Fragments
Drops periodically from Royal monsters or has a 10% chance from zombies equipped with a Royal Knight Helmet. Used to craft or repair Royal Knight Armor. Royal Knight Armor
When killing royal monsters or zombies equipped with the Royal Knight Helmet, you can obtain Royal Armor Fragments. You can combine these fragments with Chainmail Armor and the Royal Upgrade at the Blacksmith's Table to craft Royal Knight Armor. The armor has good defense, but not the highest durability. When wearing a full set of armor, when your health drops below 40% during combat, you and your nearby pets will receive a temporary defense bonus. Armor can be repaired with iron ingots or royal armor scraps.
