About this project

What does Infinitely Regenerating Blocks add?

This mod adds blocks called the Infinitely Regenerating Item Block and Infinitely Regenerating Entity Block, simple as that.

What it does?:

  • Basically as the name says, regenerates infinitely when broken
  • Also everytime it is broken, it will drop a random item or entity depending on the block, including modded items and entites as well
  • There are config files to blacklist certain items and entities, they are each in their own config file though.

Some other stuff:

  • I only plan on updating this on NeoForge for the time being and have no plans to continue developing on Forge or Fabric for that matter.

Current Blocks:

  • Infinitely Regenerating Item Block: Drops random items (modded included) and regenerates itself, has a blacklist that can be customized via the config file. Can be right-clicked to be moved elsewhere.
  • Infinitely Regenerating Entity Block: Spawns random entities (modded included) and regenerates itself, has a blacklist that can be customized for which entities can be summoned. Can be right-clicked to be moved elsewhere.
  • Upgraded Infinitely Regenerating Item Block: Drops 2 random items and regenerates itself, the blacklist is removed for this block so all items can be obtained. The Upgraded Infinitely Regenerating Item Block can be obtained by right-clicking a nether star on the Infinitely Regenerating Item Block. Can be right-clicked to be moved elsewhere.
  • Random Ore: Drops a random piece of ore when broken, generates naturally in the world but is quite rare to find. Can be silk touched to be moved later, fortune does not apply to this block.
  • Infinitely Regenerating Ore Block: Drops a random piece of ore when broken but also regenerates itself afterwards. Can be right-clicked to be moved elsewhere.

As of version 1.0.2, you no longer need to manually add your own config file

Q= Can you use this in a modpack?
A= Yes

Q= Will you port it to X version?
A= Depends on the version

Q= Will there be a Fabric Port?
A= No
