Celestial Skys
Realistic Solar and Lunar Eclipse's and an addon to MTR 4+
Quick answer
Which Celestial Skys release should I use?
Celestial Skys 2.8.2 targets 1.21.1 with NeoForge. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. 1 required mod needs a matching file.
Where it goes
Is Celestial Skys required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Celestial Skys 2.8.2 need?
2.8.2. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install JourneyMap, Mod Menu first, but 1 required mod has no matching file for this setup. Do not mix loader builds to force a match.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Celestial Skys add?
Custom world project: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/worlds/custom-world-project
Custom World Project offical youtube channel:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xobFzQQcSCk
What is it?:
Its a Mod which completly changes how the sun and the moon looks with circular texture. This also adds Solar and Lunar Eclipse's. Which can happen by command or waiting. During the Solar Eclipse depending on the percentage covered it also changes the light level. Totality will bring the light level to low and also impacts on partial aswell. It also adds items such as the phone.
Where does it work best
Currently on curseforge, we have started to make a world called Custom World Project. its a world where we built famous cities and landmarks which are not 1:1 to earth. Things like London with Westminister and its london undderground tunnels and trains, You can even fly to other countrys and continents. Its cool for multiplayer to explore. but the best is when you add the MTR and all its addons as prebuilt tracks like national rail services and london underground is built automatically so you can play right away. but the best think is the plane. i use a resource pack called airlines for mtr which adds more planes(NOT MADE BY ME) specificly famous airlines. Its so cool that we have added more exciting and cool features to the world which works best for the Custom World Project. you can still use other worlds or singleplayer or multiplayer but the custom world porject is best because all of the features are already added so you dont need to configure anything. instructions are down below if you want to make your own world. Try it out if you like exploring but does require a good PC and lots of heavy mods. You can even subscribe to the offical Custom World Project Youtube channel to recieve updates.

How to set up runways and airports for taxiway traffic:
- Open Phone → Airports → Traffic → Runway control / taxiway queues.
- On Page 1, select your saved airport/runway.
- Change Control to ON, then press Save to world. Wait for “Runway controls saved.”
- Go to the first taxiway that planes use to enter the runway. Choose a waiting area before the runway, leaving enough room for the stopped plane to remain outside it.
- Choose a small rectangle across that taxiway, covering the existing MTR route. You are marking the waiting area.
- Stand at one corner of that rectangle, near the waiting position. Open the traffic screen, press Edit taxiways, then Pos 1 / hold.
- Close the phone and walk to the diagonally opposite corner of this small rectangle.
- Reopen the same traffic screen, press Edit taxiways, then Pos 2. Your first position is remembered.
- Enter Entrance 1 as its name. Choose Entrance, and set Priority: 8.
- Press Add taxiway area. An amber box should appear on the map.
- Use the Page button to return to Page 1, then press Save to world. Wait for the saved message before closing the phone.
- Repeat steps 4–11 for your second entrance. Name it Entrance 2, choose Entrance, and set Priority: 4.
- Repeat the marking process for your first exit. Mark a small rectangle on the taxiway just after it leaves the runway. Name it Exit 1, choose Exit, leave Priority: 5, add it and save.
- Do the same for the second exit. Name it Exit 2, choose Exit, leave Priority: 5, add it and save. Exit areas appear as cyan boxes.
Entrance 1 gets departure priority over Entrance 2. Landing priority is automatic, including priority after two go-arounds.
Pos 1 / hold is a reference: the mod chooses the actual stopping point on the MTR route, with space before the runway. Save each added area before closing the phone to mark the next one.
**Commands:
/celestial solar Totality** - Sets the Eclipse to cover 100% of the sun
**
/celestial solar partial** (Percentage covered (MAX 92) - Sets the Eclipse to cover a specific number of the sun
/celestial solar Totality (number 1-7) - Schedule the Eclipse to cover the sun in that specific number also impacts partial command too
/celestial solar clear - Stops all Eclipses
What does the Phone Item do and how to obtain it?:
we are figuring out a crafting recipe for the phone but the way to obtain by chat by entering - /give @p realisticskies:phone - The phone can Track weather, Track Time, Calender and camera. The phone can predict the weather for the next 7 minecraft days and when there will be a Eclipse, when it will be and if it is going to be partial or Totality.
Does This impact or Destroy my world if i play in survival?:
No, This is just for people who are into Eclipses. it will not destroy your survival worlds.
Does it impact performance?:
No and yes. in version 2+ we have introduced shaders for this mod such as shadows and volumetric clouds. we added with mod menu a config to configure the shaders. depending on your performace it may lag and crash your pc. recommend using every perforamce mod
