About this project

What does zombie+ add?

This mod adds two new variations of the zombie to try and make the world a little more feel more diverse and organic (More is on the way!)

4 new zombie variants

  • Cold Zombie: spawns in cold biomes, inflicts slowness on hit

  • Cold Zombie Horse: has a chance to spawn in cold biomes with a cold zombie on it's back with a spear

  • Jungle Zombie: spawns in jungle and sparse jungle inflicts poison on hit (also dies faster to sunlight so Im not torturing you too much)

  • Cave Zombie: spwans under Y level 0, 2.5 blocks tall, always holds either a stone or an iron pickaxe. those that spawn with a Miner Helmet have a small chance to drop it on death

  • Deep Cave Zombie: has a chance to spawn under Y level -40, full iron armor + pickaxe; extremely strong

  • Swamp Zombie: spawns in swamps, has a poison cloud effect on death

3 new skeleton variants

  • Soul Skeleton: spawns in soul sand valley; has a 20% chance to shoot a powerful soul arrow

  • Sunken: spawns in ocean biomes; shoots arrows that arent affected by water

  • Coral skeleton: spawns in lukewarm ocean biomes and coral reefs; like the sunken it shoots arrows that move freely in water; but each coral variant shoots an arrow that applies a different effect

Zombie items:
  • Cold Rotten Flesh: gives slowness and hunger, extinguishes fire (if the player is burning)- can be brewed into 'potion of freezing'

  • Poison Rotten Flesh: gives poison and hunger, can be brewed into 'potion of venom'

  • Miner's Helmet: gives +1 armor; applying a light source (candle, torch, lantern), makes it emit light in different intensities for different light sources. also craftable from iron and copper

Skeleton items:

Soul Skeleton

  • Decayed Bone: drops from a soul skeleton

  • Soul Bone Meal: craftable from a decayed bone, has a chance to grow nether warts on soul sand in the nether

  • Soul Sand Dust: drops from a soul skeleton > crafts into soul sand/soil. used to activate a soul skeleton skull

  • Soul Skeleton Skull: rare chance to drop from a soul skeleton. placed on the ground and activated with soul sand dust+right click > will emit particles, any fire lit around it will turn blue

  • Soul Fire Charge: craftable from fire charge + soul sand dust > lights a blue fire

Sunken/Coral skeleton

  • You can craft the different versions of the coral arrows for a cheaper trydent alternative
Blades:
  • Venom Blade: trimmable on diamond sword with undead trim and poison rotten flesh. has baseline 25% chance to inflict poison I

  • Glacial Blade: trimmable on diamond sword with undead trim and cold rotten flesh. has baseline 25% chance to inflict slowness I

  • Decay Blade: trimmable on diamond sword with undead trim and a wither skeleton skull. has baseline 25% chance to inflict wither I

Special Items:

-Undead Trim: found in several structures, currently appliable only on swords

-Soul Fire Quiver: craftable from soul skeleton skull + blaze rod + soul sand dust. When held in offhand and shot an arrow from a bow/crossbow, will shoot a "soul arrow" that deals more damage and lights the target on blue fire. Has 32 durability

-Reinforced Miner's Helmet: created by applying an undead trim and a diamond to a regular miner helmet. It has more armor, and just like the regular helmet, you can apply a light source to it for a more efficient light source

2 enchantments:

-Potency: makes the Blades inflict their effects on level II instead of I

-Affliction: each level adds +15% to effects inflicting on hit for the blades Blades; 3 levels
