Evaids
Customize any mob: stats, equipment, enchantments, effects, size, riders and drops. Add new spawns or replace existing ones. Set everything up in JSON or with the in-game editor. Works standalone or as an addon for Ravents.
Quick answer
Which Evaids release matches 26.3?
Evaids 1.0 targets 26.3 with NeoForge. Do not install it on the client. It must be installed on the dedicated server. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Evaids required on the client, server, or both?
Do not install it on the client. It must be installed on the dedicated server.
This file is marked server-only.
What else does Evaids 1.0 need?
1.0 on 26.3. Every mod below is checked against that same setup.
Install Architectury API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Evaids add?
Evaids
Custom mobs and spawn control. Works standalone or as an addon for Ravents.
What it does
Evaids is a mob builder. Take any vanilla or modded entity and turn it into your own: different stats, equipment, effects, size, riders, drops. Spawn rules add your mobs next to the vanilla ones or replace them entirely.
Everything is set up in JSON or with the in-game editor.
Mobs
- Any base entity. Look, model, animations and behaviour come from it: pig, skeleton, villager, a mob from another mod.
- Stats. Health, damage, speed, armor and size. Every value can be a fixed number or a range, and ranges roll on each spawn.
- Equipment. Six slots: helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, main hand, off hand. Each item takes enchantments with a fixed level or a range.
- Effects. Permanent on the mob and applied to the target on hit. Duration in ticks, -1 for infinite.
- Drops. Your own items with counts, vanilla drops on a separate toggle, experience in three modes.
- Riders. Who sits on top, and how many copies of it stack on each other.
- Death spawns. What appears after death and how many.
- Aggression. The mob attacks players. Ranged combat works for any mob, animals included: it carries its own bow and crossbow logic instead of relying on the vanilla shooting AI.
Spawn rules
Two modes per rule:
- replace swaps the target entity type. A vanilla skeleton becomes yours.
- spawn as keeps the vanilla mob and spawns yours where it appeared.
Several mobs can be attached to one rule. In that case all of them spawn together in one spot.
In-game editor
Opens from the mod list menu or with a keybind (minus by default).
- Mob list with search, create, copy, delete.
- Stat fields, six equipment slots, enchantments, effects, drops, riders, death spawns.
- Model preview with auto-scale, so the result is visible right away.
- Spawn rules with the target picked from the entity list.
- Every change is written to JSON immediately, no restart needed.
Config files

Numbers are written as a fixed value or a range: 14, "10-18". An empty field means inherit from the base entity.

Spawn rules:
{
"spawnAs": [],
"replace": [
{ "mobs": ["skeleton_raider"], "target": "minecraft:skeleton", "mode": "replace" }
]
}
Server and client
The mod does not register a new entity. It reuses the base entity and tags it, so the server works on its own and players do not have to install the mod on the client. The client side only adds model scaling and the editor.
Ravents addon
Ravents handles raids, triggers and waves. Evaids handles mobs and their spawns. Together: a raid calls a wave, and the wave is built from mobs made in Evaids.
The two mods do not overlap, each one can be installed on its own.
Compatibility
- Pehkui optional: if installed, size goes through it
