About this project
What does Tidy Drops add?
Tidy Drops
Leaf Litter and Wildflowers flooding your inventory? Fix it with one slider.
Since they were added, Leaf Litter and Wildflowers generate everywhere in forests and
meadows — and every single one you brush past ends up as an item. Tidy Drops makes them
drop with a configurable chance instead (default 50%).
Features
- 🎚️ One simple setting: drop chance from 0% to 100%
- 🖱️ In-game config: slider via Mod Menu — no file editing needed
- 📄 File config too:
config/tidydrops.json→"dropChancePercent": 50 - ✨ Silk Touch always drops — set 0% and these blocks become Silk Touch exclusives
- 🌊 Every breaking method covered: by hand, water flow, pistons, explosions — they all
go through the same loot hook - 🎲 Each flower/leaf in a multi-segment block is rolled separately (a 4-flower block at 50%
drops 0–4, ~2 on average)
Compatibility
- ✅ Sodium, Iris, Lithium, ImmediatelyFast & friends — no rendering or tick hooks, one tiny loot mixin
- ✅ No Fabric API required, no other dependencies
- ✅ Multiplayer: install server-side only and it works for everyone; Mod Menu screen is client-side
- ✅ Datapack-friendly: modifies drops after the loot table runs, so custom loot tables still work
FAQ
Does it change world generation? No — the blocks still generate; only their item drops change.
Fortune? Fortune doesn't affect these blocks in vanilla, and Tidy Drops keeps it that way.
Where's the config screen? Mods → Tidy Drops → Configure (requires Mod Menu).
