Version 2.2 Beta — A New Approach to Building Your Character
Shape your playstyle through Artifact sets, Relics, Sigils, and Charms. Combine their strengths, discover new synergies, and make meaningful choices about how your character fights and progresses.
Class Artifacts 2.0 is a major rework of the mod, introducing substantial changes to its systems and moving toward a more strategic, build-focused experience.
About the 2.0 Beta
Version 2.0 is currently in active development. This beta is an opportunity to explore the new direction of the mod, experiment with its systems, and help shape what comes next.
This is not the final experience. More mechanics are planned, existing features may be adjusted, and balance will continue to evolve throughout development.
This update changes many mechanics from earlier releases. Older guides, screenshots, and descriptions may not fully represent the current beta.
Experiment with different builds, challenge the balance, and tell us what works — and what does not. Your feedback is an important part of this update.
Build Around Your Playstyle
The goal of Class Artifacts 2.0 is to make equipment choices matter beyond simply choosing the item with the highest numbers. Set bonuses, individual item effects, random attributes, and Sigil activation provide different ways to shape your build.
Invest in a set, experiment with combinations, or use supporting items to reinforce a specific mechanic. Finding the right interactions between your equipment is part of the experience.
Your Equipment Menu
Open the mod’s equipment menu with the J key by default. You can change this shortcut in Minecraft’s Controls settings.
Use this menu to manage your equipment and explore the combinations available to your character.
Artifact Sets
Artifact sets form the foundation of your build. Equipping pieces from the same set unlocks bonuses at specific piece-count thresholds, rewarding careful planning of your equipment.
Each set offers a different direction for your character. Choose between investing further in one set and combining bonuses from different sets to support your strategy.
Artifact pieces also play a role in Sigil activation. Check each piece’s tooltip to see which equipped Sigil type it allows you to activate.
Relics
Relics provide individual bonuses that complement your Artifact setup without requiring a matching set of their own. Their effects can strengthen your existing strategy or introduce another useful interaction into your build.
Look beyond a Relic’s attributes and consider how its special effect works with the rest of your equipment. The right Relic is not always the one with the largest bonus — it may be the one that brings your build together.
Sigils
Sigils add another layer of planning to your equipment. A Sigil must be equipped and enabled by an Artifact piece that supports its type.
Only one Sigil of each type can be active at a time. Pay attention to activation requirements and effect conditions: a powerful Sigil is only useful when your setup can support it.
Charms
Charms help refine your Artifact setup by increasing the level of a set’s potion effect. They can also provide a bonus to the effective piece count of a specific set.
A set-count bonus requires at least one actual piece of the matching set to be equipped. Use this interaction to plan your set thresholds and make more deliberate equipment choices.
Random Attributes
Items can roll additional attributes, giving you another reason to compare equipment and search for pieces that suit your build. Two items with the same core effect may offer different supporting bonuses.
Consider both an item’s main effect and its rolled attributes. A useful combination can be more valuable to your setup than a single impressive number.
Artifact Piece Pouches
Artifact Piece Pouches remain part of the mod in version 2.0. As the beta develops, their acquisition and role in progression may be adjusted alongside the rest of the equipment system.
Refer to the version you are playing for current information. Recipes and acquisition methods from earlier releases may no longer apply.
Screenshots on this page may show earlier versions of the mod. Visuals and mechanics are subject to change during development.
