About this project

What does child-friendly-keepinventory add?

Child Friendly Keep Inventory is a server side Fabric mod that lets operators enable keep inventory for individual players. Each player keeps or drops their items and XP on death based on their own setting, no matter what the keep_inventory gamerule is set to. Players cannot change it themselves, only ops can. Settings are saved by UUID so they survive restarts and name changes. Nothing is needed on the client, vanilla clients can join normally.

Commands (require op level 2):

  1. /ikeepinv set <player> <true|false> sets a player's keep inventory
  2. /ikeepinv get <player> shows a player's current setting
  3. /ikeepinv clear <player> removes the override so they use the default
  4. /ikeepinv default <true|false> sets the default for players without an override
  5. /ikeepinv list lists the default and all overrides

Requires Fabric API. Install by dropping the jar into the server's mods folder.
