Remnants
A vanilla-style mod focusing on the introduction of a sprawling new structure known as the Remnants, and its many unique items found within. Addon mod for Trailier Tales
Quick answer
Which Remnants release should I use?
Remnants 26.1-r1.2 targets 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2 with Fabric. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. All 3 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Remnants required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Remnants 26.1-r1.2 need?
26.1-r1.2. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install FrozenLib, Trailier Tales, Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 7 come through another mod in the chain.
7 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Remnants add?
A vanilla-style mod focusing on the introduction of a sprawling new structure: the Remnants.
Requires Trailier Tales
The Remnants is a new, large-scale structure (akin in scale to something like a Trial Chambers or Stronghold, potentially a bit larger), which comes in 3 variants - Andesite, Diorite and Granite.
Much like my other projects, Remnants focuses on upholding the core stylistic design of the vanilla game.
Structure
Remnants generate in the stone layers in most underground biomes. The structure has a theme mixed between Strongholds, Dungeons and Trial Chambers in some ways.
The structure has a unique theme around redstone, contrasing the Trial Chamber's copper bulb lighting with a unique interconnected redstone circuit which you can activate in certain areas to turn on the redstone lamps for the structure in entirely randomly-generated segments at a time.
Enjoy a clash of Stronghold-type exploration and mystery alongside Combat Rooms where you can test your skill against Trial Spawners in order to get unique vault loot using the new Remnant and Ominous Remnant Keys.
The Remnants also have many unique secrets to discover and mechanics to learn - thanks to its utilisation of the new Surveyor block found in Trailier Tales alongside more traditional puzzles which may lead to hidden chests or even entire secret rooms!
A stone brick well now generates on the surface above a Remnants when in forest biomes, to signify its presence (v1.1+).
Variants
Each variant contains the same 50-ish core possible rooms, however with differently accented brick palettes, and different Trial Spawner mobs.
Default - Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders
Andesite - Husks replace Zombies
Diorite - Strays replace Skeletons
Granite - Cave Spiders replace Spiders
Rooms
While I won't list every structure room individually, I will outline the overall categories.
Great Hall - every structure has a Great Hall, through which the structure generates out of
Great Hall Rooms - side rooms in the Great Hall have 3 variants - a sleeping quarter, a preparation room and a power room.
Small Halls - there are many variations of hallways in the structure, with different shapes, sizes and even puzzles
Small Rooms - besides hallways you may find small rooms, filled with puzzles, loot or even trial spawners
Jail Cells - you'll find 3 variations of Jail Cells - the Tannery, Storeroom or regular old Cell
Grand Halls - larger hallways found more rarely, adjacent to these you'll find the Combat Rooms
Combat Rooms - large rooms centred on combat, much like the Trial Chambers. Each room has a unique mechanic involving redstone to make your fights more interesting. There are 5 dedicated Combat Rooms that may spawn in a given structure
Miscellanous Rooms - as you explore the structure, you'll find many other types of rooms, often with their own secrets or lore behind them - make sure to search the structure thoroughly!
Secret Rooms - not going to spoil these here, but know that there are 3 of them to find! Totally unrelated fun fact - did you know that Lecterns can be used to activate redstone?
The Great Library - the most elusive place in the entire mod and even game. It has a low chance of replacing the Great Hall as the starting room (and has its own side rooms and hidden secrets, too). While very rare, the scale of the Great Library is not to be underestimated, and nor is the loot which is found within.
There are a total of 171 structure NBTs in the mod, or 57 if you don't include the 3 alternate variants of the core structure.
Loot
No exploration-combat-hybrid structure like this would be complete without loot! In addition to many useful items found in vanilla, Remnants also contain some new items exclusive to this mod.
