About this project

What does Endless Progression add?

Endless Progression Mod

An all-in-one mod

this is a mod aiming to add as much gear progression before and after netherite, as well as building blocks or traps for base fortifications, decorations, foods, fuels etc. and maybe even machines and tech mod compat. in the future

Development progress

Just a warning, this mod is very early in development and only adds one set of gear, some items and blocks! this is a rebuild of Ultimate Chaos Progression Mod, one of my old Mcreator projects, this mod however is made with hand written code in intellij so i can learn java and have almost no limitations when creating features, also, updates take time : im still learning coding right now and im trying to support multiple versions

the old version is still available for download : https://modrinth.com/mod/ultimate-chaos-progression-mod

the current version is 0.0.3, i've been trying to diagnose and fix some issues i had with my pc recently, which is why the mod hasnt gotten any updates on development since the last release, but im done with that meaning i'll work on it again very soon, this is what the slate steel gear of the latest update looks like :

if you want to leave any comments, suggestions, bug reports etc. and want to track this mod's progress i have a discord server i use as my notepad and have made community-ready-ish, you can write any comments and ask questions there. there's also my notes on future mods & ideas there if you want to see that, feel free to join :

How/Where to use the mod

This mod has no dependencies, and it was made to be used to complement any modpack, for now in the earliest builds it only aids in survival but it will get a lot more interesting uses as we keep working on it, lastly we recommend using JEI to view recipes

Content list

all screenshots were taken in game, the shaders used are soft voxels lite
also the current texture for the tier 2 reinbforced bricks is a placeholder, there's a poll on the discord server asking how you would want higher tiers of reinforced blocks to look like, feel free to go there and answer

Slate Steel Gear :

an alternative to diamond, costing less diamonds (in the form of shards, 1/4th of a diamond) but requiring a significant amount of coal/iron

Building blocks :

compressed frames are crafted from a variety of different stone types and can be built into reinforced bricks using white concrete powder, there are also decoration blocks made of slate steel just like for copper and now tier 2 reinforced bricks (strengthened with iron), here's screenshots of some of the available blocks

Reinforced bricks and compressed stone types
Slate steel blocks and tier II bricks
A mix of both

Foods and Fuels :

so far the mod contains one custom item of each of those, the wrapped coal lump, coal and dried kelp crafted together to be more efficient

wrapped coal lump in action

and the croissant with a gold variant (just like for golden apples but giving resistance and strength instead), like bread but with more saturation and a taste of french

Hope you'll enjoy using the mod !
