About this project

What does Simple Spawn Timer add?

Simple Spawn Timer

A lightweight client-side Fabric mod that adds on-screen countdown timers and automatic mob spawn tracking to your game. Perfect for timing spawners, boss respawns, cooldowns, events, or anything else. Set it up once and it just works — no server needed.

You can run up to 999 timers at the same time. Slots 1–10 are bound to hotkeys (Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+0) so you can restart them instantly without opening chat. Timers persist even if you close the game, keeping time using your real clock so nothing gets lost.

The mod also includes a mob watchlist with automatic spawn tracking. Add a boss name (like "Boss Corleone" or "Key Guardian") and the mod will detect it when it spawns, place a waypoint, and start learning its respawn interval. After a kill, it automatically creates a countdown timer so you know exactly when the mob is coming back.

Features

Timers

  • Up to 999 simultaneous countdown timers with custom names
  • Instant hotkey reset — press Ctrl/Cmd + slot number to restart (slots 1–10)
  • Supports seconds, minutes, and hours (up to 24h)
  • Timers survive game restarts and keep ticking in real time
  • Click interactions in the HUD: left-click to mute, double left-click to reset, double right-click to remove

Mob Detection & Spawn Tracking

  • Watchlist with partial name matching — works with Hypixel-style boss names
  • Automatic detection when a watched mob is in front of you (field-of-view check, no X-ray)
  • Learns respawn intervals over time and auto-creates countdown timers after kills
  • Full LIVE → countdown → UP → LIVE cycle with color-coded bars
  • Full-screen alerts: red for mob spawns, yellow for timer warnings
  • Two-tone urgent alarm sound on mob spawn
  • Tracks multiple spawns of the same mob type at different locations simultaneously
  • View and manage learned respawn data with /STimer watch intervals

HUD & Waypoints

  • Draggable HUD — move it wherever you want on screen
  • Adjustable size, text opacity, and background opacity
  • Color-coded progress bars: blue (active), yellow (warning), green (UP), red (LIVE), gray (muted)
  • 3D world waypoints: floating timer labels at spawn locations, visible through walls
  • Waypoints fully customizable (render distance up to 500 blocks, size, height offset, opacity, distance display)
  • Alarm sounds with configurable warning threshold, duration, and volume

General

  • Works entirely client-side — no server mods needed
  • Optional Mod Menu + Cloth Config support for a settings GUI
  • All settings manageable via /STimer config

Commands

All settings are managed through /STimer (or /stimer). Set timers, manage the mob watchlist, or tweak any config — everything in one command.

/STimer set "Blaze Spawner" 90 1
/STimer set "Key Guardian" 5 minutes 2 true
/STimer remove 1
/STimer remove name "Key Guardian"
/STimer watch add "Boss Corleone"
/STimer watch add "Key Guardian"
/STimer watch intervals
/STimer config draggable true
/STimer config waypoint showDistance true

Why use this mod?

If you've ever needed a quick timer while playing. Whether it's for a spawner farm, a boss respawn, a raid cooldown, or just reminding yourself to do something — this mod handles it without getting in the way. No menus to click through, no complicated setup. Just set a timer and play.

For boss farming, the mob watchlist takes it further: add a boss name once, and the mod handles detection, waypoints, respawn tracking, and alarms automatically. It learns the timing so you don't have to.
