About this project

What does Colorwheel Patcher add?

Colorwheel Patcher is a mod that automatically patches supported shaderpacks at launch to be made compatible with Colorwheel.

This replaces the manual patching with a more convenient method.

How to use

  1. Install the mod
  2. Install a compatible shaderpack (see below)
  3. Launch the game
  4. Select the patched shaderpack (ending with "+ Clrwl ...")

Supported shaders

  • BSL 10.1
  • Bliss 2.1.1 - 2.1.2
  • Complementary 5.6 - 5.6.1 (officially supported since r5.7)
  • Euphoria Patches 1.6.3 - 1.6.8 (officially supported since 1.7.0)
  • Photon 1.3a
  • Rethinking Voxels 0.1-beta9

Tip: it's common for shaderpacks to disable Entity Shadows or Block Entity Shadows by default. Make sure that those options are toggled if you want Create contraptions to cast lights and shadows.

There is a fork of photon available on my GitHub. This fork supports colored lighting on contraptions and is compatible with Voxy, which isn't the case with the patch available with Colorwheel-Patcher.
