Cosmos
A highly configurable mod for better stars and night sky!
Quick answer
Which Cosmos release should I use?
Cosmos 1.0.3-26.1.2 targets 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2 with Fabric. It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server. All 4 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Cosmos required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server.
This file is marked client-only.
What else does Cosmos 1.0.3-26.1.2 need?
1.0.3-26.1.2. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Fabric API, Mod Menu, MidnightLib, Text Placeholder API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 1 comes through another mod in the chain.
1 extra mod was pulled in by another dependency. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Cosmos add?
Cosmos
This mod is all about enhancing the visuals of stars in a vanilla friendly, and highly configurable way.

Stars
Stars are now highly configurable: almost everything about them, including the texture, is customizable. The list of configurable features includes:
- Texture
- Count
- Brightness multiplier
- Size range
- Twinkle frequency
- List of colors
- Color alpha range (opacity)
- North star toggle*
*While the north star picks a northern star to replace, if the count is low enough to where there are no northern stars there is a possibility that no north star will appear even with the option turned on
