Mine and Slash Compatibility
Enables Compatibility mode for Mine and Slash
Quick answer
Which Mine and Slash Compatibility release should I use?
Mine and Slash Compatibility 1.0.0 targets 1.20, 1.20.1 with Forge. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. All 6 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Mine and Slash Compatibility required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Mine and Slash Compatibility 1.0.0 need?
1.0.0. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Mine and Slash, playerAnimator, Curios API, The Harvest and 2 more first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 6 come through another mod in the chain.
6 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Mine and Slash Compatibility add?
This is an addon for Mine and Slash.
Installing it will activate ability to choose different compatibility modes for Mine and Slash:
Original Mode - default Mine and slash
Compatible mode - same as default, but other mod's spells are scaled/converted with Mine and slash damage
Lite Mode - drastically change the mod into a 'lite' version, making it better for modpacks that aren't focused on Mine and slash:
- Instead of replacing or nullifying the damage of other mods, Mine and Slash will instead only add bonus damage, making it work with other mods
- Level scaling will be drastically lowered to not overshadow other mods
- Certain Gui elements will be hidden
- Values of mob damage, player stats etc will be lowered to mesh better with more vanilla modpacks
- Certain Mine and Slash features like stat or weapon requirements will be lowered or disabled
- Other tweaks which you can read about fully here
Also, all these options are configurable, these are just the default options.
Requires Mine and Slash v6.0.0 and up
As an extra feature, it comes with damage source debugging commands:
/mns_compat damage_watch
These can be used to see what type of damage other mod's weapons do, to make it easier to create mine and slash datapacks for these weapons.
