About this project

What does No Mob Latency add?

This mod re-adds the pre-1.3 smooth mob movement to singleplayer, without any latency. Also reintroduces client-side mob movement.

A video that I have posted on YouTube explains this problem here:

This mod changes the default mob tickrate from 3 to 1, and reimplements shared mob movement from both the client and server which was initially removed in 1.8. It can have glitches, though.

Known bugs:

  • Horses will continue to move clientside after riding.
  • Happy Ghasts cannot be controlled.
