ResourceTracker
Track project goals on a customizable HUD. Capture build areas, import Litematica plans, and calculate raw materials with wood and smelting choices. Client-side Fabric; 12 languages.
Quick answer
Which ResourceTracker release matches 1.21.6?
ResourceTracker 1.6.2 targets 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.2 with Fabric. It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is ResourceTracker required on the client, server, or both?
It must be installed on the client. Do not install it on the dedicated server.
This file is marked client-only.
What else does ResourceTracker 1.6.2 need?
1.6.2 on 1.21.6. Every mod below is checked against that same setup.
Install Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 1 comes through another mod in the chain.
1 extra mod was pulled in by another dependency. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does ResourceTracker add?
ResourceTracker
Keep your build's material goals visible while you play. ResourceTracker is a client-side Fabric mod with separate lists for each world or server. It counts carried inventory, including the contents of Shulker Boxes and Bundles you carry. Nearby chests and other world containers are not counted automatically.
Follow live progress
Give each project its own HUD card, with a separate title band and a clear divider above its resources. Choose collected or remaining amounts, pin priorities, hide completed rows, sort by remaining quantity, and set a visible-row limit. Cards stay inside the screen when their contents grow or the window changes size.

Independent HUD cards track your workshop and garden, with clear project headers, item icons and collection progress.
Keep projects organized
Open ResourceTracker with M. Create an empty list, import a file, or capture a block area. Open a list's card to edit it, toggle its eye icon to show or hide its HUD, and use Place HUD to drag visible cards into position.

Project cards show progress at a glance, with visibility controls and separate lists for every build.
Edit one resource at a time
The Resources tab keeps search and the resource table together. Select a row to edit its exact target, mark it collected, pin it, replace it, or remove it. Replacements preserve quantities and merge matching targets. Manual completion records your acknowledgment; it does not add virtual inventory. Undo action or Ctrl+Z reverses recent edits.

Select a resource to edit its target, mark it collected manually, pin it, or replace it while preserving the quantity.
The searchable item catalog stays open while you add several resources. Search translated names or item IDs. Selecting an already-added item opens its quantity rather than adding another copy of the goal.

Search the item catalog and keep adding resources. PNG check marks identify items already included in the project.
Shape the HUD
The HUD tab groups options into Content, Appearance, and Position. Use automatic columns or one to five fixed columns, toggle item icons, adjust colors and opacity, and preview changes live. Preview zoom is separate from the HUD's saved scale. Small windows open details and previews on their own pages.
Choose items, full stacks plus a remainder, decimal stacks, or Shulker Box units. With a stack size of 64, 272 items can display as 272, 4 stacks + 16 items, or 4.25 stacks. Decimal stacks round upward to hundredths, so 273 becomes 4.27 stacks. Each item's actual stack size is used.

Adjust icons, columns, scale and colors while previewing the same HUD card.
Calculate collection materials
The Raw materials tab shows the ingredients behind your original goals without replacing those goals. Finished goods and intermediate materials already in your inventory reduce what remains. Recipe details let you choose a way to obtain an item, select a recipe, and choose that recipe's ingredient variants. Computed quantities are read-only; raw-material manual marks are independent of marks on the original goals.

Calculate ingredient requirements separately from your finished-item goals and review available quantities.
Calculation rules groups the three list-wide choices: smelting inputs, wood in recipes, and an independent stone policy. Enable furnace inputs to collect raw metals instead of ingots. Collect stone directly with Silk Touch or choose to smelt cobblestone. Fuel and workstations are not included.
Choose a wood type from the searchable species available in your Minecraft version, or use Automatic for compatible alternatives. Specific wood recipes keep their requirements: oak stairs still need oak. Explicit recipe and ingredient choices take priority over general wood preferences.

Set the wood used by compatible recipes and control smelting and stone collection independently.
Crafting, stonecutting, cooking, and smithing upgrades use the current Minecraft version's vanilla recipes. Special recipes that depend on item components remain finished-item goals. Server datapacks can define different recipes. Search recipe nodes and open Notes for readable calculation diagnostics.

Choose whether to collect an item ready-made or craft it, then inspect recipes, ingredient policies and effective sources.
Capture an area
Select two block corners with commands or a configured key binding. The key binding shows a live colored outline as you aim at the second corner. Review the captured placement materials in a draft, replace or remove resources, swap compatible wood families, and apply a multiplier before creating the list. Nothing is created until you confirm the draft.

Review scanned materials, apply a copies multiplier and refine the draft before creating your project.
Import existing plans
Preview Litematica .litematic, Litematica Materials JSON, or ResourceTracker TXT before creating a list. Litematica itself is not required for import. Schematic imports count supported block placement materials; entities, container contents, and decorative NBT are excluded. Unsupported or malformed files show an error rather than creating a partial list. For exported JSON, the Total amount already includes its multiplier.

Inspect imported item quantities in a clean preview before creating a new project.
Quick Add, settings, and files
Hover an item in an inventory or container screen and press K to choose its destination list and amount. Quick Add increases an existing target by that amount. Change key bindings in Minecraft Controls.
Global settings group defaults for New lists, Notifications, Keys, and Files and recovery. New-list defaults apply to future lists. Choose completion messages, sound, and volume; notifications do not repeat every update, and loading a world with completed lists stays quiet. Lists remain editable TXT files, and existing lists stay compatible.
Install and compatibility
Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API, then place the universal JAR in your mods folder. ResourceTracker runs on the client; no server installation is needed. Mod Menu is optional.
- Minecraft 1.21–1.21.11, 26.1, 26.2, and 26.3
- Java 21 for Minecraft 1.21.x; Java 25 for 26.x
- English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, French, Bengali, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, Urdu, and German
ResourceTracker registers Bengali and Urdu in Minecraft's language menu. Mod translations cover ResourceTracker; vanilla text follows Minecraft's available language assets and normal English fallback. Arabic and Urdu use right-to-left text rendering.
