📝FAQ

Q: How does this different from the other existing Nether's Delight Fabric?

A: This port follows Farmer's Delight Refabricated's idea. That is, to be simplicity and faithfulness to the original mod by minimize changes to those has to be done to accommodate the loader specific things.

Package names and all existing behavior has been kept the same. This is important for mods that compiles against the mod's code, as they can be either easily ported or built using a multiloader project. A exmaple could be the planned Fabric version of Create: Central Kitchen.

Another important point for players and pack-makers is that this port is open-sourced under LGPL v2.1 and available both on CurseForge and Modrinth. See the "Can I use this mod in my modpack?" part for details.

Q: Can I use this mod in my modpack?

A: Feel free to use this mod in your modpack and even build your own custom version to match the needs, if you follow these terms:

  • Make sure to credit the author(including the Forge version's author), and don't claim Nether's Delight as your own creation;
  • Permission to copy, distribute and/or modify the mod is granted under the terms of the licenses of the mod. You may check the LICENSING.md file in the mod jar or source repository for details.

Q: Is it safe to switch to this port using old saves?

A: IDs are kept unmodified, so yes.

Q: Which Minecraft versions will the mod be updated for?

A: Nether's Delight Refabricated is currently being updated for 1.20+. Future updates will be maintained following the Forge version's updates.
