About this project

What does QuickTrigger add?

QuickTrigger

Teleport to Spawn or Home in one click. No commands, no chat, no fuss.

What it does

Open your inventory and you'll see the buttons: Spawn and up to 9 Homes. Click one, you're there. Instantly.

That's it. No typing /trigger spawn or /trigger home, no opening chat, no guessing which home is which.

Works with the VanillaTweaks Homes & Spawn datapacks.

Why you'll like it

  • Instant. One click instead of typing a command every time.
  • Visual. See all your homes at a glance, right in your inventory.
  • Personal. Color each home and give it a name, so you always know where you're going.
  • Effortless. No setup, no config needed to get started.

Installation

Drop the .jar into your mods folder. That's it.
Works with Fabric and NeoForge, client-side only, compatible with any server.

Players without the mod can still join and play normally, they just won't see the buttons.

Customization

With Mod Menu installed, open Mods → QuickTrigger → Config to:

  • Give each home a custom bed color
  • Give each home a custom name, shown on hover

Your setup is saved per server and per singleplayer world.

For server admins

Install the same .jar on your server to unlock more control:

  • Set how many home slots are visible to everyone
  • Control how many slots each player can use
  • Customize the tooltip on locked slots

Config generates automatically on first launch. Full setup details in TECHNICAL.md.

Compatibility

Situation Works?
Client only, no server mod Yes, Spawn + 1 Home
Client + server mod Yes, full feature set
Vanilla client on a modded server Yes, mod is ignored
