About this project

What does English crossing decor add?

NOTICE:
the features in this mod are purely decorational and are not meant to function with the exception of the "functional wigwag".
it is unlikely that other crossings from other countries will be added. Actually, it is almost certain that I will not be adding crossings / equipment from other countries.

This mod adds basic blocks that can be used to make semi-accurate uk level crossings in minecraft. This mod was going to only be for personal use, but I have decided to release it on modrinth (here) because there aren't enough mods that add UK crossing equipment to my knowledge.

Blocks included:

  • 2 Bell types activated by redstone
  • Crossing lights (wigwag)
  • AHB, MCB and Penguin barriers
  • Pole
  • Abandoned Penguin barrier

Planned:

  • Some signals
  • Signs (eg. Keep Crossing Clear)
  • More weathered/abandoned versions of blocks
  • More barriers and lights

Not planned but considered:

  • Working lights and barriers
  • Road markings
  • Tracks / grade crossings

Will not be added:

  • Foreighn signals / equipment (as noted above in the NOTICE)
  • Trains
  • Traffic Lights / other road infrastructure
  • Station infrastructure
