About this project
What does PingPing add?
A simple multiplayer ping system for Minecraft. Ping a block, mob, entity, or just a spot on the map to be visible to nearby players. Just point, middle-click, and everyone with the mod will see it. Inspired
by the ping systems found in modern multiplayer games.

Controls
| Input | What it marks |
|---|---|
| Middle click | The entity you are looking at — a mob, a player, a dropped item, a boat. |
| Middle click, nothing alive in sight | Vanilla pick block keeps the click. If it has nothing to give, a plain marker lands on the exact point you aimed at. |
| Sneak + middle click | The block you are looking at, shown with its item icon. |
You do not have to be precise. A direct hit on a hitbox always wins, but anything inside a small cone around your crosshair gets picked up too, so marking a mob sixty blocks out is still a single click. Line of
sight is required — you cannot mark through walls.
Settings
Everything is in config/pingping.json. With Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib installed you can edit it in game instead, from the mod list.
The mod is needed on both the server and the client.
