Rotted
Minecraft mod that expands and revamps the zombie branch.
Quick answer
Which Rotted release matches 1.20.2 Forge?
Rotted 1.0.3 targets 1.20.2 with Forge. Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional. 1 required mod needs a matching file.
Where it goes
Is Rotted required on the client, server, or both?
Installation on the client is optional. Installation on the dedicated server is optional.
The source marks this as usable on both the client and server.
What else does Rotted 1.0.3 need?
1.0.3 on 1.20.2 Forge. Every mod below is checked against that same setup.
Install GeckoLib first, but 1 required mod has no matching file for this setup. Do not mix loader builds to force a match.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.
Before you install it

About this project
What does Rotted add?
Very Important! This mod is our first one made in java so there could be problems with it... The mod is open source on GitHub though.
↔ Rotted is a Minecraft mod that tends to add new zombie type creatures that look realistic with their animations, sounds and attacks! Rotted zombies have better ai than most zombies, making them weaker to fire, following and staying in group like realistic zombies, and they also will alert others if you hurt one of them and they are close to you.
↔ And if the zombies may seem to strong for you, you still have the config file to work with, playing with their health and damage!
Rotted looks beautifully with shaders and with other mods because this mod has huge compatibility with other mods even if, some of the shaders or mods may break the actual visual effect of the mobs or game effect.

↔ Mod inspired by Plants vs Zombies and other zombie movies/animes, such as Highschool of the Dead and Train to Busan!
↔ Mod requires Geckolib
