About this project

What does PStone Recipes add?

This isn't recommended, because I realised how long-winded and broken its transmutations were. I might change the recipes later and un-un-recommend it :

This mod adds recipes to EE for transmuting items using the Philosopher's Stone. Note that it does not use the learning system like the transmutation tablet does. Don't bother trying to use these recipes in normal crafting tables - they're much more useful for automatic ones.

It reads the item and block IDs from mod_EE.props and does not interact with EE in any other way.

If you find any missing recipes or there's no way to transmute X to Y with just the pstone, post it here. I expect there to be quite a few items or conversions I've overlooked, given the number of recipes in this mod. I suggest you use CraftGuide to see the list of recipes added.

These recipes are not related to the old v5 or v4 recipes. The path for transmuting cobble into diamonds is: (and it's a LOT longer than in v5 or v4; this is the reason I don't recommend using this)

1 cobble - 1 sand
1 sand - 1 dirt
2 dirt - 2 grass
8 grass - 1 vine
2 vines - 1 lilypad
2 lilypads - 1 log
1 log - 4 planks (vanilla recipe)
1 plank - 1 light blue dye
1 light blue dye - 1 magenta dye - 1 orange dye - 1 ink sac - 1 rose red - 1 cactus green - 1 cocoa bean - 1 purple dye
4 purple dye - 1 obsidian
4 obsidian - 1 iron ingot
8 iron ingots - 1 gold ingot (EE recipe)
4 gold ingots - 1 diamond (EE recipe)

It also adds some new fuel transmutation recipes. There are few enough that I'd draw a diagram if I knew what software people normally use for drawing diagrams. Here's a complete list of fuel transmutations:

2 charcoal - 1 redstone (x1,2,3)
(x1,2,3 here means you can also transmute 4 charcoal - 2 redstone or 6 charcoal - 3 redstone)
2 redstone - 1 coal (x1,2)
1 redstone - 2 charcoal (x1,5,7)
3 redstone - 1 gunpowder (x1,2)
8 redstone - 1 alchemical coal (x1)
2 gunpowder - 1 glowstone dust (x1,3)
8 gunpowder - 1 glowstone block (x1)
4 gunpowder - 1 blaze powder (x1)
1 gunpowder - 3 redstone (x1,3,5,7)
1 blaze powder - 4 gunpowder (x1,3,5,7)
2 blaze powder - 1 blaze rod (x1,2,3,4)
1 glowstone dust - 2 gunpowder (x1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)
1 blaze rod - 1 glowstone block (x1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)
1 glowstone block - 4 glowstone dust (x1,3,5,7)
1 glowstone block -3 alchemical coal (x2,4,6,8)

and some existing recipes:
4 glowstone dust - 1 glowstone block (vanilla)
1 blaze rod - 2 blaze powder (vanilla)
4 charcoal - 1 coal (EE)
4 coal - 1 alchemical coal (EE)
4 alchemical coal - 1 mobius fuel (EE)
4 mobius fuel - 1 aeternalis fuel (EE)

Again, there are way too many matter transmutations to list them all. Try CraftGuide or NEI.
