About this project
What does CircuitSimCraft add?
A Fabric mod that turns Minecraft into an analog electronics lab. Place resistors, capacitors,
inductors, memristors, diodes, transistors (NPN/PNP/NMOS/PMOS), all four classic
dependent/controlled sources (VCVS/VCCS/CCCS/CCVS), and a full bundled 3-phase electrical
system (source, R/L/C, ammeter, Bundler/Unbundler) as blocks, wire them up, drive them with
power supplies, function generators, or an AC source, and probe the live voltage/current/
frequency response with a handheld oscilloscope — all backed by a real modified-nodal-analysis
(MNA) circuit solver, the same family of algorithm SPICE uses, not a scripted approximation.
This is a teaching tool: the goal is for the in-game behavior to actually match what you'd see on
a real bench (RC charge curves, RLC ringing, a memristor's resistance drifting with accumulated
charge, a diode's rectified output, a transistor switching on and off, a balanced three-phase
current summing to exactly zero at every instant), just at Minecraft-tick timescales instead of
real-world ones.

What's in the box
Sold across three trading villager professions, so a classroom world can hand out
components without creative-mode item-give commands:
- Electrician (job site: Breadboard) — resistor, capacitor, inductor, memristor, power
supply, function generator (+ voltage/frequency modules), wire, ground, ammeter, ideal op-amp,
AC source, R2V/V2R redstone-voltage converters, and three oscilloscope probes (time-domain,
X-Y, and AC/Bode-plot). - Electronics Engineer (job site: Workbench) — diode, NPN/PNP/NMOS/PMOS transistors, current
source, voltmeter, and all four classic dependent sources (VCVS/VCCS/CCCS/CCVS). - Electrical Engineer (job site: Switchboard) — the full 3-phase world: 3-Phase Wire, Source,
Resistor, Inductor, Capacitor, Ammeter, a Bundler/Unbundler pair to cross between the bundled
and single-conductor graphs, and a dedicated 3-phase oscilloscope probe showing all three
phases overlaid in the standard red/yellow/blue convention.
Two solvers run side by side on the same wiring: an ordinary transient (time-domain) solver for
the oscilloscope's live traces, and a separate small-signal AC solver for the AC Probe's
Bode-plot frequency sweeps (magnitude + phase, log-spaced) — so the same circuit can show you
both a step response and a frequency response.
Ready-made builds
Ten datapack functions build things for you — no manual wiring required. Three set up trading
villagers:
