About this project
What does EasyPlaceFix add?
EasyPlaceFix
EasyPlaceFix is a client-side Fabric add-on for Litematica. It replaces the fragile parts of Easy Place with placement logic designed for multiplayer servers: correct block orientation, controlled interaction timing, fewer duplicate clicks, and safer retries under latency.
What it fixes
EasyPlaceFix helps when normal Easy Place:
- places directional blocks with the wrong orientation;
- struggles with interactive or multi-step blocks;
- repeats clicks after server delay;
- desynchronizes on Paper or other multiplayer servers.
It has dedicated handling for stairs, trapdoors, signs and hanging signs, shelves, lecterns, crafters, observers, pistons, rails, skulls, banners, wall-mounted blocks, multiface blocks, and other placements that need a custom hit position or a follow-up interaction.
Key features
- Note block tuning: new and existing note blocks can be tuned to the schematic through a shared rate-limited queue.
- Server-friendly interaction: supported containers and workstations open correctly on Paper and Servux servers, including while an item is held.
- Placement pacing: Balanced, Safe, Fast, and Custom presets, plus optional timing jitter.
- Excavation Guard: protects correctly placed blocks and blocks outside loaded schematic regions.
- Automatic tool switching: selects a suitable tool before mining.
- Terrain replacement: can replace mismatched dirt, grass, coarse dirt, and dirt paths.
- Safer delayed-action cleanup and configuration recovery.
- English, Russian, Spanish, Mexican Spanish, and Simplified Chinese translations.
Excavation Guard, automatic tool switching, and terrain replacement are disabled by default and can be enabled separately.
Configuration
The mod adds an Easy Fix tab to Litematica's configuration screen.
- enableFix — enable the EasyPlaceFix placement logic.
- loosenMode — allow looser item matching when the exact item isn't available.
- nbtIgnore — search for items without strict NBT matching.
- AllowInteraction — allow normal interaction with supported containers and workstations.
- observerDetect — avoid placing an observer when its required schematic neighbor is not ready.
- clientRotationRevert — restore the client view after a temporary placement rotation.
- placementPreset and placementJitter — control placement frequency.
- excavationGuard, autoToolSwitch, and terrainAutoReplace — optional building helpers.
Hotkeys are available for loosenMode, nbtIgnore, and AllowInteraction. Loosen Mode data is stored in config/loosenMode.json.
Installation
Install EasyPlaceFix together with compatible versions of:
EasyPlaceFix runs entirely on the client. Check the Versions tab for supported Minecraft versions and exact dependency requirements.
For multiplayer, SLAB_ONLY works without a server component. AUTO can use Servux V3 when it is available. A separate TickPrediction installation is not required.
